Javier Rivera H. is a founding partner of RIVERA & CÍA. He graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile in 2010, is a candidate for a master’s degree in Criminal Law from the Universidad de Chile and he is certified in Family Litigation Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
Previously, he worked as a litigation lawyer in the litigation and arbitration group of Cariola Diéz Pérez-Cotapos (2010-2011) and as a solo practitioner from 2011 to date.
His law internship involved criminal matters obtaining outstanding marks and he was recognized with the same distinction in his thesis entitled “Bases for a legal-criminal approach to the environment in Chile”.
Mr. Rivera is an arbitrator judge with a current appointment granted by the Court of Appeals of Santiago for the biennium 2021- 2022 in matters of Civil Law, Commercial Law, Labor Law, and Family Law.
His practical experience has focused on litigation and arbitration in civil, commercial, labor, criminal, administrative, trademark, family, and complex litigation, as well as corporate counseling through title studies, incorporation of commercial companies and drafting of contracts for domestic and foreign companies.
